Welcome to the Orange Middle School Orchestra website!   It is the philosophy of this course, in accordance with the district philosophy of maximum learning for every student, that each child has the opportunity to explore instrumental music in a supportive, caring and encouraging environment.  Participants are held to high standards and high levels of expectation in performance achievement.  Orchestra students at the middle school level are exposed to a variety of new string skills, techniques and music that will enable them to grow in their music making abilities as string players and will enable growth in sensitivity, group dynamics and leadership skills as young adults.  Please check this website often as I will be updating it with new information and links to valuable websites.   Please feel free to contact me using the "e-mail me" link throughout the year if you have any questions.
