Girl Talk
The Girls’ Alliance of Orange Middle School is hosting an event for 6th and 7th grade girls to help strengthen the bond between them and their mother (or another significant woman in their lives). Join us on May 20th from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in the school library for light refreshments, games, crafts and more. There is no charge for attending, but pre registration is required (complete form below and return to Miss Dewey).

FYI from our school nurse:
7th Grade Immunization Requirement
Ohio law mandates that all 7th grade students must have a booster dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis) or Td (tetanus and diphtheria) prior to entering school in August, 2012, unless otherwise exempt. This is in addition to the three to five doses, depending on year of entry, of DTap (diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis), DTP (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis), or DT (diphtheria and tetanus) that is required for initial entry.
Immunizations can be obtained at the Delaware General Health District, private physicians or urgent care centers. Written proof of the booster shot or exemption form must be turned in to the school nurse within two weeks of the first day of school. Please contact your school nurse if you have questions.
